2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee PCM cloning successfully done with OBDSTAR DC706.
PCM type: Jeep Continental GPEC2 MPC5566+95320
Device used: OBDSTAR DC706+ P003 adapter or MP001
Do it in boot mode. Need to use extra power supply.
Read EXT eeprom and Read INT flash of the original PCM.
Backup both eeprom and flash of the donor PCM.
Write EXT eeprom and write
INT flash to the donor PCM.
This is a VW T5 Transporter with Bosch EDC17CP20 ECU. It has high tprot. often seen high tprot case.
OBD cannot read password, no bench password is available either with foxflash programmer.
Bench mode failed, error bench mode not supported, used Boot modoe tricore.
Lastly got password via boot password, so after password was obtained rest was a simple boot case on tricores sak1769.
In the end all fine.
