Alientech KESS3 released new bench protocol for Bosch DCU17PC42- Iveco Daily VI C70 3.0 FPT.
With the latest KESS3 Truck & Agri activation, you can now work in BENCH mode on the newest generation of commercial vehicles, ensuring complete and reliable control of auxiliary engine functions.
The maintenance and repair of aftertreatment systems are essential to ensure the reliability and long-term durability of work vehicles. For this reason, KESS3 (with an activation dedicated to the heavy-duty and agricultural market) allows you to operate also on Bosch DCUs installed on FPT 3.0 engines, offering complete and safe management of the control units dedicated to the auxiliary engine functions.
With this update, you can operate in BENCH mode, without opening the Bosch DCU17PC42 control unit installed on sixth-generation Daily C70 vehicles (from 2020 onwards), accessing, reading, writing, and accurately modifying all management parameters.
An evolution designed for professionals who work every day with modern commercial vehicles and want to offer their customers a complete, efficient, and professional service.

As titled, Flex and Autotuner which is better to read and write Renault / Dacia / Mitsubishi Continental EMS3160 ECU? OBD or bench?
Autotuner is better on this ECU.
Use AT, 99% of chance VR will be
available.
Autotuner>CMD>Flex, in this order.
Obd and bench
are based on VR.
Flex does not work on some versions.
There is no VR in Flex for this
version.
Problem:
It’s a Peugeot 508 keyless model. Autotuner read DCM7.1A — Delphi OK via OBD, unlock ECU ok, but fail to OBD write after unlocking ECU.
Solution:
You have to hold and press key against the column the entire
time if the writing yes.
Follow instructions exactly.
Hold the key in your hand throughout the writing process.
Always works
with key held against column, it shows on autotuner instructions where to hold
key.
Try holding key next to steering column as shown, and see if dash lights
up
If lights come on you can rewrite the file with key again just make sure
key is exactly where is should be as shown.
