Formulaflash programmer software 1.2.0.0 released BMW 2021+ MDG1 ECU bench unlocking feature. Here is an example of a locked MD1CP032 ECU. Formuflash unlocks this ECU in bench mode; no opening ECU required.
Quick search "Unlock" and select BMW bosch MD1CP032 ECU.
Choose bench mode and check wiring diagram.

Connect ECU with the Formuflash programmer via jumper cable.
Watch out the
small pins, use the smallest in the attachment box.
Click Connect in Unlock menu. It will unlock the ECU automatically.
Then read and save the ECU data.

Then write ECU. Formula flash will also do checksum correction.
