Flex Adds Marelli MBC1/MBC2 Support for BMW Motorcycles

Magic Motorsport Flex programmer released new Motorcycle bench protocols on August 26th, 2026.

V8.14.0.0 Software

New programming opportunities for the motorcycle world: version 8.14.0.0 of Flex introduces support in Bench for Marelli MBC1 and MBC2 control units installed on BMW Motorrad and Husqvarna vehicles.

This new protocol allows you to work directly via pinout, simplifying programming operations and enabling the full read of the content of the unit.

A further expansion of two-wheel vehicles covered by Flex, providing professionals with new possibilities on motorbike ECUs.

Flex v8.13.0.0 Update VAG MG1CS111 ECU Bench Unlocking

Magic Motorsport Flex support for the VAG Group expands even further. With version 8.13.0.0, it is now possible to program the Bosch MG1CS111 ECU, equipped with a TriCore TC298 processor.

Thanks to Boot Glitch unlocking, it is possible to work on the ECU completely independently, including in Bench mode, without the need to ship it to our laboratories.

A solution that simplifies the workflow and ensures full control over the entire operation.

The new support is available to all customers with a Flex Full Master (FLS0.5M) or Flex Full Slave (FLS0.5S) license.

Flex Programs PSA EDC17C60 ECU in Bench Mode

Magic Motorsport Flex PSA EDC17C60 project completed:
1) EEPROM virginized
2) Full software update in bench mode
3) Immo-off in EEPROM to avoid issues with future dealer updates
4) Configuration change (automatic/manual transmission, standard key/keyless, etc.)
5) Programming the desired PIN into the ECU in bench mode

Flex Boot Glitch Unlocks BMW MD1CS201 DME

Flex boot glitch unlock review: 2024 bmw mg1cs201, first 3 glitch attempts no connection. Added 5 ohm resistor and within 10 seconds it connected to the DME. Full backup and unlock successfully. Checked flash and obd2 unlock bytes are same as pre-2020.

Resistor add in between boot pin.

Magic Motorsport Flex updated the Chrysler GPEC5 ECM unlocking function recently.

Everything ready to delimit RAM 1500 Rebel 5.7 V8 etorque, unlocking GPEC5 successfully.

Unlock GPEC5 ECM in boot mode.
