Flex 8.18.0.0 Supports Mercedes CPC5 Boot Unlocking

Magic Motorsport Flex adds new boot glitch unlocking protocols on September 8th, 2026.

Version 8.18.0.0 of Flex Out Now

Mercedes Truck CPC5 control units installed on vehicles produced after 2020 are now among the new units supported by Flex + Korhex.

The dedicated procedure allows you to work in Boot Glitch mode using EMFI — Electromagnetic Fault Injection technology, with support for the latest Mercedes Truck heavy-duty vehicles, including Actros and Arocs.

Position Korhex, follow the Flex-guided procedure, and directly access the SPC58 microprocessor.

In order to use the protocol, you need either the FLS0.20 license or the Flex Full FLS0.5 configuration.

Flex Software Freezes? Try These Solutions

Problem: The screen suddenly goes a bit darker and the Flex programmer software app freezes. At the same time, the USB and update icons start flashing red. It only started doing this in the last couple of days. Any ideas what could be causing it?


Solution:

1). The laptop is on standby. Quick reboot and its fine.

2). You are running it in browser. Use the software application.

3). Flex suggests uninstalling everything and doing a clean install.
